Ineos Automotive has unveiled the Grenadier Quartermaster Kaiju, a visually striking and heavily modified version of their rugged off-roader. While intended primarily for promotional activities across Australia, the Kaiju showcases the impressive customization potential of the Grenadier and the strength of Ineos' partnerships with leading 4x4 accessory suppliers.

Living up to its name, derived from the Japanese word for "giant monster," the Kaiju is a testament to over-the-top off-road capability. Collaborations with renowned brands like Norweld, Rhino-Rack, Redarc, JMACX, and BF Goodrich have resulted in a truck brimming with high-quality aftermarket components.

Norweld has contributed significantly to the Kaiju's expedition-ready capabilities. Their custom-designed aluminum tray and canopy boast a 40-liter water tank, a spacious 1,200 mm trundle drawer with a built-in table, and a durable 2-Pac paint finish, ensuring resilience in the harshest environments. A 130-liter Bushman fridge and a convenient bolt-on jerry can holder further enhance the Kaiju's long-distance travel potential.

Redarc has equipped the Kaiju with a robust 2000W inverter and a high-capacity 150Ah lithium battery capable of enduring over 5,000 charge cycles. JMACX has provided remote reservoir electric shocks offering 16 stages of adjustment for optimal off-road performance. Maxtrax has included its indispensable beach recovery kit and mounting hardware, while Stedi has enhanced the Kaiju's lighting with a powerful array of flood, spot, and work lights. A long-range 168-liter fuel tank further extends the vehicle's range for extended adventures.

Ineos has also contributed a range of its own robust accessories, including a sturdy bull bar, protective rock sliders, and practical checker plates. Built upon the Trailmaster Edition, the Kaiju benefits from standard features such as a snorkel, an auxiliary battery, 17-inch steel wheels, and a convenient access ladder.

While the Grenadier Quartermaster Kaiju remains a unique, one-off creation, many of the aftermarket components showcased on this vehicle can be purchased directly from the respective suppliers. Notably, Ineos offers warranty coverage for many aftermarket accessories specifically designed for their truck, providing customers with peace of mind and confidence in their aftermarket investments.

In the United States, the Grenadier is exclusively powered by BMW's 3.0-liter straight-six gasoline engine, delivering a respectable 282 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque. This engine is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission featuring a manual overdrive function, providing a balance of performance and off-road capability.
